MEETUPS & EVeNTs

In addition to ski trips the club organises regular meetups and other events.

Meetups are held (usually every second Tuesday) from late November to the end of March to meet and socialise with others between trips. Outside the skiing season ad-hoc meetups are often arranged (usually on Tuesdays too).

All are welcome, no signup/registration is needed and they're free!

Events have a special topic (bowling etc.) and may or may not require registration, see the individual event for details.

Any events you have registered for will have an "already registered" link below them. Click there to see info about your registration.

For details of ski trips organised by the club see Ski Trips.

Munich International Ski Club goes Wiesn! Join our traditional MISC Oktoberfest party!

    Dear Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to this year’s Oktoberfest party which we booked for midday at the Marstall Festzelt on Sunday, September 27th, 11.00 – 14:30.

Booking your Oktoberfest ticket as a member is only possible with paid membership for this season so, if you have not done so yet, please use this opportunity to renew your membership in order to book your Oktoberfest ticket as a member.

    Reservation process

Registration will first open for a week to full members only at a reduced price of 60,00 €; one guest is allowed per member (at regular price). Then, registration will be opened to non-members for any remaining tickets on a first-paid-first-served basis for 70,00 €.

    What's included in the price:

    • Appetizer:  A shared traditional Bavarian Brotzeitbrettl (charcuterie board) featuring regional hams, cheeses, spreads like Obatzda, radishes, and pretzels.
    • Main Course: The Hendl-Pfandl, a skillet of traditional roasted Oktoberfest chicken (Hendl).
    • Dessert: A shared Kaiserschmarrn im Pfandl

    Drinks are not included.

Please note, the service fee (Trinkgeld) is not included and we'd advise you to bring cash (coins) to pay these directly as you order your drinks and any additional food.

    Payment terms

Places are only considered reserved once payment has been received in full.

If you cannot attend for any reason, we will do our best to find someone to take your place, and refund anything the club did not have to pay on your behalf minus a 15€ cancellation fee.

    Event logistics

Vouchers will be handed over at the entrance to the Marstall Festzelt tent on Sunday 27/9, from 10:30. Please be on time. The entry begins at 11:00 and they will only hold empty seats for us until 11:20. After that, any unoccupied seats may  be given to other guests who come without a reservation.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to Irena via email at specialevents@munichskiclub.com.

We will set up a WhatsApp group closer to the date and you will receive a link to join as soon as you register and pay. You'll also receive instructions on how to find our tables shortly before the event.

We're very much looking forward to celebrating this year's Wiesn with you!

    • München Viktualienmarkt Bodenseestandl (stand 29)

Fasching celebration with Munich International Ski Club

On Tuesday, 9th February, we will celebrate Fasching and party with our traditional partner Marco from Bodenseestandl, who will magically turn his stand into a great party bar with drinks at reduced prices for our Ski Club members and associates.

The place is easy to find search in Google for "LOUIS Hotel" or "Betty Barclay" at the Viktualienmarkt yet it will be the easiest if you join the Fasching Party WhatsApp Group where we'll share our location - from 12 pm on.

Make sure you bring enough cash! When you forget or run out, you can always use the cash-machine, which is right next to where we party.

Before you order, make sure that you tell them that you are with the Munich International Ski Club, so you get reduced prices.

    See you there! :)
