MISC Terms and Conditions
These are the Munich International Ski Club, e.V. general terms and conditions. Specific events or membership applications may contain additional terms and conditions found in the description which may override and add to these terms and conditions.
Registration and Payments
All payments received will be first applied to any open invoices or fees owed to MISC and then to the current registration. You will not be able to register for an event until all debt to MISC is paid in full.
Once you have registered for membership or an event, which you've committed to going, the deposit or full payment is due immediately. The registration is not confirmed until your payment is received.

Deposits, if required, are non-refundable. If the event requires a deposit, your registration is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
Season Pass Holders
Members with a season pass will need to register the same as all other members and contact the trip organizer to inform them they have a season pass valid for the ski resort(s). In all cases, they need to register and pay the full event price and adhere to these terms and conditions. If there are enough event attendees to receive the planned group discount, the season pass holder will not have to pay for the lift ticket included in the trip price and will be issued a refund. If the group discount number is not reached, a lift ticket will be purchased for and given to the season pass holder. The season pass holder is then responsible for what they do with the lift ticket.
Your registration may be cancelled if the deposit is not received immediately or the full payment is not received by the full payment due date as stated in the event description.
Contact the event organiser for cancellations or any changes to your registration. If you cancel before the full payment due date, you still owe the deposit, and if you cancel after this date (or simply don't show up) you may lose the full amount. We need to do this unfortunately because a number of people register for events to reserve a place for themselves and then decide later if they really want to go, expecting that they can just cancel - apart from being unfair to other members, this causes a lot of work for the volunteers organising the events and reducing this workload means that people are happier to run events and that there will continue to be someone to run events in the future.
If you wish to cancel and are able to find someone to take your place at an event, please contact the event organiser for coordination and approval. Once we have received payment from your replacement, we will refund the money you have paid for the event minus a €30 handling fee and in accordance with the Refunds policy found here.
All refunds will be made back to the originating payment method. If requested by MISC or the registrant and agreed by both, the refund can be made to a different payment method. All refunds will be the original amount paid minus any applicable handling fees, non-refundable deposits, and minus payment transaction fees. Risk / Insurance
Taking part in a ski club event is done at your own risk, just like taking part in an event with friends; these are club trips, not commercial trips. The club and its representatives do not take responsibility for the actions of its members and does not have insurance to cover injury, or damage to or loss of your property. In particular, if you go skiing/boarding on a club trip it is highly recommended that you make sure you are insured for mountain rescue; note that this is not covered by normal medical insurance in Germany, and in the unlikely event that you need one, a helicopter ride can be very expensive.
